Many homeowners would sell at the right price but never list. Listing is a one-way door: showings, a public asking price, and a commitment that is hard to walk back. At the same time, real estate agents with buyers ready to move have no way to find the owners who would sell if the offer were right. Windfal gives both sides a better option. A homeowner sets their Windfal price, the price they would actually sell at, and their home appears on a map that only verified real estate agents can see. Unlike a listing, nothing is public, and the homeowner can change their price at any time. Agents know upfront what it would take to buy, so every conversation starts from a serious place. Homeowners join for free, and agents subscribe for access to homes that are not on the market. Behind the marketplace is our own home verification technology. We capture homes with 360 degree LiDAR cameras, and Talos, our AI grading system, assesses condition across more than 1,300 standardized home elements to produce a Condition Score and detailed report. Scanned homes carry a verified badge on the platform. Windfal is a technology company, not a brokerage, and works alongside agents rather than around them. We are based in Edmonton and serve the Edmonton metro region, with field operations live and 38 homes scanned and reported to date.
